Which sentence contains an indirect quotation? A) Bob and Susan weren't home. B) Bob told Susan that he wanted to go shopping th
lidiya [134]

The answer is B.

This is because it shows someone saying something, but it is what the writer has told us as an audience not a normal quotation that we see in a book.

For example, a direct quotation would be:

"Mom! I don't want to do my homework now!" Darren complained.

This is because we can see the exact words of what Darren said.

Whereas an indirect quotation would be:

Darren told his mom he didn't want to do homework now.

- Because we have to trust the writer what Darren said but cannot see the exact words.

Hope I helped,

Dear Sister ,

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀How are you ? I am good here. I am missing you so much . I want to know about your current health condition . I hope my letter reaches you at good moment . I am writing this letter to tell you to take proper care of your care of your health.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I would suggest you to eat vegetables and to completely avoid junk foods . Consuming junk foods , makes the person obese (weight gain) , it has poor nutrition and causes many other diseases . Eating vegetables and fruits helps you to concentrate on your studies as well as it keeps you healthy. vegatables also have enough nutrients which are required by our body.So please try to take the healthy foods and stay focused on your studies.

Take care and be happy . Looking forward to see you soon.

(a) What does Juliet mean when she stated "what's in a name? That which we call a rose/ By any other name would smell as sweet"
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

a) Name has nothing to do

b) Youth energy is compared to the energy in an old person

Explanation:

a) By the statement "What's in a name" means that family names given to Juliet and her lover by their families have nothing to do with their love and hence irrespective of whatever family name they have they must live together

b) In Act II Scene 5, Juliet gets irritated by the speed with which her old nurse approaches her to tell the good news that Romeo wants to marry her.
