Only the Congress of the US has the power to declare war. 1. Why is this good?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

It prevents war being declared without being careful.

Explanation:

If we had one person able to declare war, then they could do so without restriction, especially without consulting anyone. However, since congress has the power to daycare war, this requires hundreds of more people to review what has occured, and see if war is the best option. It's safer.

Hope this helps!

kondor19780726 [428]

Answer: Traditional subsistence agriculture has turned into industrial mono culture farming. Among the negative effects are deforestation, soil degradation due to the use of toxic pesticides and the lack of variety in crops, decreased food security due to the use of agricultural lands for commercial crops with no alimentary value such as rubber and abusive private appropriation of land by industrial agricultural corporations. Among the positive effects in Thailand and China, because of their logistical, financial and educational support of poor farmers, the latter have been able to take advantage of the rubber boom and prosper, leaving poverty behind.
