Is population growth a good thing?

Population growth has its pros and cons. If the population gets too big, there might not be enough funds, food, and jobs for the growing population. A country can't provide enough for the current population and now the population is growing. Population growth is not a good idea if the government can't already provide for its current population.

The competition in America is getting higher. The number of people working is too small.

No because . . .
More forests will be cut down. There will be more global warming and pollution, due to all the people driving cars which causes pollution which causes global warming. Fewer workers means higher salaries.We are running out of land. We are running out of resources.
