Who just finished the marathon is tired is the subordinate clause, because it started with a relative pronoun, it is classified as a relative clause. "Just" is the subordinate conjunction and it is an adverb because it modifies the "finished" in the sentence to show immediacy.

The subordinate clause in this example is 'who just finished the marathon', because it cannot exist on its own - you cannot write just this clause and put a full stop, because the clause is not completed, it needs to be a part of a larger, main, independent clause. That is why it is subordinate.
As for the type of the clause, this is an 'adjective clause', because it modifies, or refers to 'the woman', she is the one who just finished the marathon and that is why she is tired. It describes the subject in more detail, and that is exactly the function of an adjective, or adjective clause.

Fed [463]
Compromising your viewpoints and behavior is bad generally: it will in the end only lead to frustration and will be a hindrance in achieving one's goals.
There are many situations in which compromising the viewpoint is bad, and one of the is an interpersonal conflict: it might solve the problem in a short-term, but not in a long term.

Write two ways in which Robin Hood and the foresters were different from each other.
sashaice [31]

Robin Hood and the foresters can not only be seen as being quite different from each other; they can be seen as exact polar opposites of each other.  This is so because while Robin Hood was nice to people, the foresters were just the opposite—they could be seen as being cruel to people.  To focus on this a bit closer it can be seen that while Robin Hood was honest and helpful, the foresters were dishonest and hurtful.
