Answer: Option C. "Homeostasis"

Explanation:

Homeostasis is the phenomenon inside the body of a living organism by which it maintains body mechanism with respect to changing environment in order to get stability.

Stomata plays a major role in the process of homeostasis in plant by reducing the water loss that takes place through the process of transpiration. When the environment is hot, stomata opens and water vapor comes out of stomata this helps in uptake of more and more water from the roots of the plants through the stems, this process cools down the plant.

When the temperature is cold outside, the stomata closes to stop the further uptake of water from the roots, this helps in maintaining the inner temperature of plant.

This is how stomata helps in maintaining homeostasis.

What anastamosis is maintaining blood supply to the brain and by what routes?

●Collateral Circulation

●Collateral Willis

Explanation:

Atherosclerosisis affects arterial blood vessels by causing a thickening of the arteries by multiple plaques within the arteries.

Collateral Circulation best shows why there was adequate and necessary blood flow to the brain.

In Collateral Circulation closed smaller arteries links and connect to two bigger arteries or certain points of the same artery acting as another way of blood supply.

Collateral vessels are often closed but in people with coronary heart disease or stroke, it will expand and increase.

Note: there is something called collateral Willis referring to the choice of it remain close in some people and being open in some people.

Why are architects and engineers concerned about surface waves
Ainat [17]

Answer:

Because they are the most destruction waves

Explanation:

Surface waves travel just below the earth’s surface.  Examples of surface waves are Rayleighs and Long waves. Rayleighs cause ripples on the ground while long waves move the ground horizontally perpendicular to the direction of travel of the wave. Therefore, these waves are capable of destroying the foundations of structures and hence causing their collapse. Studying these waves allow these professionals to design foundations strong enough to withstand these waves.

Cómo comienza a formarse la materia más sencilla en el comienzo del big bag?
Andreas93 [3]
