Answer:

Without the string from Ariadne, it would have been very hard for Theseus to escape the maze. "Theseus, take this, she whispered. Even if you kill the Minotaur, you will never find your way out again" (E2BN.org, Commonlit). She requests Theseus to take her with him and she also thinks he will marry her. He doesn't find her attractive and therefore leaves her stranded on an island. "In his haste to get away, Theseus forgot to change his sails to white. King Aegeus, waiting on the headland, saw the ship approaching with its black sails flying in the wind"(E2BN.org, Commonlit).

Write a sequel in which the stranger returns to the house after some time had passed. How has he changed, having seen his childh
Dmitry [639]

Answer:ok its short so try to stretch it

Explanation:

as i foraged through the dark trees and muddy path i saw a house with a door, it was my house. As i walked through the old 90's toys my mother would buy for me i felt a nostalgic feeling run through my chest. I was back home as i walked to the door it was unlocked. maybe mom still lived here maybe she gave the house to pa or my siblings. as i walked through the door it smelled horrible inside i could see our old family pictures and all our things nice and neat i felt cozy and i felt these feelings that made me miss my child hood. i stood in horror to find a mutilated body sitting in my chair. it was my mother. as rat and other pests fed on her flesh i shooed them off as i carried the chair and dug a whole. as i placed the body on the ground i ripped the cloth from the chair and wrapped the body in it and place lots of my mothers clothing from her wardrobe inside to make it look all pretty as i placed her body in the whole i remembered all the amazing times i spent with her and everything my mother did for me

How do I write a slant rhyme poem
alekssr [168]
Hi. Before you can write a slant rhyme poem, it is important to know what it is. It is a rhyme in which the stressed syllables of ending consonants match, however, the preceding vowel sounds do not match.

An example of a slant rhyme poem is Emily Dickinson's, "The Difference between Dispair"...

The mind is smooth - no motion
contented as the eye (slanted)
upon the forehead of a bust
that knows - it cannot see (slanted)

I hope this helps a little.

Take care,
Diana
