Monotheism has been defined as the belief in the existence of only one god that created the world, is all-powerful and interferes in the world. Another, more broad definition of monotheism, is the belief in one god. A distinction may be made between exclusive monotheism, and both inclusive monotheism and pluriform (panentheistic) monotheism which, while recognising various distinct gods, postulate some underlying unity.

Monotheism is distinguished from henotheism, a religious system in which the believer worships one god without denying that others may worship different gods with equal validity, and monolatrism, the recognition of the existence of many gods but with the consistent worship of only one deity.

The broader definition of Monotheism characterizes the traditions of Bábism, the Bahá'í Faith, Cao Dai, Cheondoism, Christianity, Deism, Eckankar, Islam, Judaism, Mandaeism, Rastafari, Ravidassia religion, Seicho no Ie, Shaivism, Shaktism, Sikhism, Tengrism, Tenrikyo, Vaishnavism, Yazidism, and Zoroastrianism, and elements of pre-monotheistic thought are found in early religions such as Atenism, Ancient Chinese religion, and Yahwism.

There are also monotheistic parody religions, such as Pastafarianism.

How and why did the early peoples come to the Americas
Aleks [24]

Answer:Many thousands of years ago, not a single human being lived in the Americas.

This only changed during the last Ice Age. It was a time when most of North America was covered with a thick sheet of ice, which made the Americas difficult to inhabit.

But at some point during this time, adventurous humans started their journey into a new world.

They probably came on foot from Siberia across the Bering Land Bridge, which existed between Alaska and Eurasia from the end of the last Ice Age until about 10,000 years ago. The area is now submerged by water.

There is still debate about when these first Americans actually arrived and where they came from. But we are now getting closer to uncovering the original narrative, and finding out who these first Americans really were.

Why did reform movements grow out of the Realist movement?
Anton [14]
The abolitionist movement was against people being dis-empowered and enslaved because of their colour. The feminist movement grew from the same point, particularly in the USA and England, for women realized they had been dis-empowered because of their gender. Neither gender or colour was choice.

blagie [28]

The main purpose of ratifying the Bill of Rights is to prevent the misuse of power.

Explanation:

The bill of rights in the constitution of the United States of America were the documents which gave the first amendments of the constitution. The bill of rights were formed so that the people who are living in the United States could have the liberty of speech or to follow any religion and these bills were also responsible for the protection of these rights. But these were ratified so that the people could not misuse or abuse the powers which were given to them in any ways.
