The story of Gadarene demoniac teaches us that we most not run away from our fears, but rather confront them until they no longer affect our lives. God will always be with us and near so we can face all those fears head on. Only by doing this, we will discover that the horrendous monster we feared might not be as fearful as we thought.

We also most consider that Jesus never run away from the demoniac, actually he went on to meet it face to face. When he was in Calgary he did not try to get away from it, he met it face to face. Yes, he was afraid but running from it, will subject you to live in constant fear, and that will not be a life after all.

Finally, confront your fears, and do not run away from them, because if you do  your life will be miserable. It is OK to be afraid but remember that God will always be there with you. That is what the story of Gadarene demoniac teaches us.
