What do location fossils suggest

Geography
1 answer:
steposvetlana [31]3 years ago
6 0

Say continent 1 has the same fossils of continent 2. That means that there could have been a migration, a land bridge between those continents that eroded or melted away, or those continents were on two tectonic plates that pushed apart over millions of years, creating two separate continents in the end.

How do scientists use data to determine the epicenter of an earthquake
aev [14]

Answer:

Use of Triangulation, and interaction of the three circles.

Explanation:

 • To determine the epicenter of the earthquakes the scientist study the patterns of the waves and use this method to find the exact location of the earthquakes.
 • As the earthquake has P and S waves that are released with force the distance that these waves travel are calculated with the distance of the radio waves that is reflected from least three different locations, thus it's named as triangulation all three sides.
 • About three seismographs are used to locate these waves, along with the use of the GIS technology prediction of the faults and the future occurrence of earthquakes of done.
