Hey there, make 60 a fraction, 60=60/1, 2 2/3 as an improper fraction is 8/3. Now, we have 60/1÷8/3, change the ÷ sign into a × sign. Flip 8/3 into 3/8, now we have 60/1×3/8. 60×3=180 and 1×8=8. Now, we have a fraction of 180/8. Then, we simplify 180/8. The GCF of 180 and 8 is 4 so we divide by 4, 180÷4=45 and 8÷4=2, So, 180/8 simplified is 45/2, 45 is bigger than 2 so we make 45/2 as a mixed number, 45/2 as a mixed number is 22 1/2. Therefore, 60 ÷ 2 2/3 = 22 1/2

Evaluate the function rule for the given value.<br> y = 8.3x for x = 4
sweet [91]

The value of the function y = 8.3x for x = 4  is 33.2.

The given function is y = 8.3x and x=4.

We need to evaluate the function rule for the given value y = 8.3x for x = 4.

<h3>What is the function?</h3>

In mathematics, a function from a set X to a set Y assigns to each element of X exactly one element of Y. The set X is called the domain of the function and the set Y is called the codomain of the function.

Now, substitute x = 4 in y = 8.3x.

That is, y = 8.3(4)=33.2

Hence, the value of the function y = 8.3x for x = 4  is 33.2.

The table gives an inequality and a number to multiply both sides of the inequality by. Identify the new, true inequality.
zepelin [54]

Multiplying both sides of an inequality by a negative number reverses the inequality symbol.

<h3>How to determine the true inequalities?</h3>

The table of values is given as:

A: (-16 > -4) (-16 < -4) (-16 = -4)

B: (40 > 8) (40 < 8) (40 = 8

C: (-45 > 15) (-45 < 15) (-45 =15)

D: (35 > -20) (35 < -20) (35 = -20)

In the above list of inequalities, the true inequalities are

-16 < -4 --- because -16 is less than -4

40 > 8 --- because 40 is greater than 8

-45 < 15 --- because -45 is less than 15

35 > -20 --- because 35 is greater than -20

Lastly, when an inequality is multiplied or divided by a negative number, the inequality sign changes
