Answer:

Sankore is a cultural edifice found in Timbuktu, Mali. The Sankore was a mosque which was demolished and rebuilt after some years by Imam Al Aqib.

He gave the instructions because he wanted the mosque to be built in a similar fashion as the Kaaba mosque found in Mecca. The connection and relationship Sankore has with Kaaba is the similar building pattern and structure
