That would be the inner core because when it's under the crust, there would be one layer above it the outer, then the mantle way underneath since the Earth's crust is a thin shell on the outside of the Earth, accounting for less than 1% of Earth's volume. It is the top component of lithosphere : a division of Earth's layers that includes the crust and the upper part of the mantle. And the Earth's mantle is a layer of silicate rock between the crust and the outer core. Its mass of 4.01 × 10 24 kg is 67% the mass of the Earth. It has a thickness of 2,900 kilometres (1,800 mi) making up about 84% of Earth's volume. It is predominantly solid but in geological time it behaves as a viscous fluid.

In the book the dreamer: How does the narrator portray Neftali in the scene with the swan
AleksAgata [21]

Explanation:

Neftalí is a dreamer. He loves words, birds, forests, and the sky. But his father expects him to be practical, concentrate on his studies, and prepare for a career in business. Slowly Neftalí learns to believe in himself, defy his father, and trust his own vision…a vision that makes him grow up to become one of the foremost poets of the twentieth century. This imaginative exploration of the boyhood of Pablo Neruda takes readers on a rare journey of the heart and imagination, and brings hope and confidence to every child who has struggled against the odds and dreamed of a larger world.

Joel needs new glasses. He is getting older, and he feels his eyes getting tired when he tries to read a book up close. He knows
Nitella [24]
I think the answer is letter d. fine-tune how the lens bends light. Eye strain often happens when a person focuses his vision on a particular object. When Joel is reading, the glasses helps fine-tune the light before going into the retina. If Joel does not change his glasses, it would make his eyes focus more on the book, causing the eyes to strain even more
