Answer:
There are many natural resources found in Latin
America that can be used for industry. Three examples of these resources are fertile soil, minerals, and the Amazon Rainforest. Fertile soil can be used in farming and ranching industries. Farmers can grow important cash crops, such as coffee, soybeans, and tropical fruits. Ranchers can use the land to raise and breed cattle, one of the leading industries in Brazil. Though these are important industries in Latin America, if people can create environment challenges to the soil if they are not careful. Possible challenges include soil exhaustion, erosion, deforestation, and water contamination from pesticides. A large supply of minerals has led to the development of the mining industry, which is very important to countries like Chile, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru. Though mining creates economic stability, it also creates environmental challenges! Issues such as water pollution (with toxins like mercury and bauxite) and air pollution (from heavy machinery) are common. The Amazon Rainforest itself is an amazing natural resource that allows for industries like mining, farming, ranching, and logging. However, if left unchecked, these industries can create environmental challenges such as deforestation, water contamination, air pollution, and the extinction of plant and animal species.

Answer:
The Fertile Crescent was good for farming because of the fertility of its land, a result of irrigation from numerous large rivers in the region.
Advantages:
Irrigation and agriculture developed here because of the fertile soil found near these rivers. Access to water helped with farming and trade routes. Soon, its natural riches brought travelers in and out of the Fertile Crescent.
Disadvantages:
Since the world's earliest civilizations developed in the Fertile Crescent, it is not hard to imagine that there are many geographical advantages. The presence of two rivers and the sediment they leave behind after flooding made for successful crop surpluses. But the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers were also a disadvantage..
A- Graph B shows exponential growth of a population.
Graph B is a type of exponential equation where y=a(b)^x
"a" is the initial value that intercepts the y-axis in the above equation.
"b" is the value that every value thereafter is growing (multiplying by). Note, if "b" is 1- your value is not growing (since it is staying at it's original 100%). If "b" is, for example 1.5 your value is growing by 50% each time (1 gives you your original 100%, and the .5 gives you an additional 50% on top of that).
"x" is your input, and here it is the exponent because you are multiplying "b" to the power of your input for each value.
