Silicon Valley is a lowland area in California where there's a very large concentration of high-tech corporations and computer programming businesses. The reason why this area has been chosen by these corporations and businesses is because the terrain is suitable for building, the area is very well connected, it located between several major cities, and the Pacific Ocean is right next to it so that the products can be sent abroad for sale. Pretty much all large corporations in the high-tech industry have their headquarters in this area.
