How long have people been making art

I heard that people have been making art for a REALLY long time, like when people first settle here on Earth. An artwork was found in a cave that was 37,300 years ago. Since we can record. People even made cave art in the time of Native Americans. Art has been around in all sort of forms since we could speak.
