Frankreich, Berlin, Frankfurt am Mein, Northern Germany in particular.
Southern Germany has a lot more farm life, so it kinda stinks there, but the food is 100% worth it. Artistic. They have extremely fresh milk there. People there are pretty stoic. They might come off as mean people when you first meet them. Southern Germany has a lot of abandoned castles on mountains to hike near or to tour. Not very populated. Very traditional, if you're into that.
In northern Germany, you get a bit more of international stuff. Very Artistic. Plenty of art galleries to gaze at. The people there can look stern, but are friendly. (Typically) don't like long talks, and they keep them pretty frank. Has some castles (I haven't been in northern Germany all that much though...)
