Ethiopia people who are Christians believe in tradition. Incest is forbidden, the bride must marry virgin, marriage is often arranged by her parents, both families prepare a  social attendance where many guests are invited. There is a dowry to the groom, and other marriage norms.

In Ethiopia, most men are married by the law but they can also have concubines. Those relationships are not sanctioned and are generally accepted. Christianity influenced marriage by having close relationships and polygamy became less common.

yes it was Inevitable. tensions about slavery and southern state rights were bound to explode along with calls for secession And boy did they happen. It started with the south seceding. The rest of the united states didn't take the secession seriously though until the south attacked a fort and raided it for munitions and supplies.   then and only then did the civil war fully explode into a reality.
