A counter argument usually uses a neutral tone and uses the words to let the readers know what the person disagrees with.

Martin Luther King in his counter argument addressed the clergymen. He claimed that his approach for freedom through non-violence was correct and would definitely lead to the freedom of the blacks. He gave example of Mahatma Gandhi and his approach of non-violence through which India got independence.

He urged the black people to fight against the British. He also said that God would only be happy if they themselves take care of their civil rights. They have already waited long for justice but never got it. So, it was time to fight for their rights.
