The night before I was so excited for my holidays .we were going to America New York but one thing that was sad was the the flight was 12 hours (hrs) I mas sure I had everything pack and then got ready I was so happy and at the same time I was sad because I had to leave my cat at my mothers friends house we were going for 10 days I went to sleep at 10pm the next morning I couldn’t stop smiling I was sooo happy then we were getting ready to go to the car and I went to say bye to my cat the off we went to the car it was only 1 hrs drive but I fell asleep in the car then my mother woke me up we were at the airport we parked out car then we went to the airport we went through all the security everything was good our plane was leaving in an hour do uo just went on my phone then we started to board Wesen we got to the plane we were so happy so the our plane too off I feel asleep for half of the plane ride the n I just went on my phone we lanaded around midnight when we go to our hotel we went straight to bed the the next morning we woke up and had breakfast and went down to the reception and called my mas friend and I wantsedto see how outr cat was doing and they said that she passes away I started crying and couldn’t stop and my holidays were ruined
Think of it this way: if you were to introduce an idea, and then say "on the other hand" it's logical to assume that you are about to introduce a new idea that is not similar to your original.
The same is true of keywords "unlike" and "however".
But, if you're describing something "in other words", you're saying the same idea, just communicating it a different way.
