First you have to change it into an improper fraction. The improper fraction would be 25/4% and to find the decimal you take the numerator divided by the denominator. So you would take 25÷4=6.25% The answer is 6.25%. Hope this helps

What is a equivalent rational number to 1.28 repeating?
goblinko [34]
<span>the line over the 28 means the 28 repeats forever. 1.282828.... and so on let x be the rational number 1.28... we can use this trick: 100*1.282828....= 128.282828... (the decimal 28 part repeats) 100x = 128.28... next: 100x - x = 128.282828... - 1.282828... the .282828... part will be subtracted away 99x = 127 divide both sides by 99 to get x= 127/99</span>

aleksandrvk [35]

Check the picture below.

notice the reflected gray line on the red one over the y=x line, the slope of either line across the y=x line is simply the other's upside-down.

\stackrel{\textit{slope of line "a"}}{a\implies \cfrac{a}{1}}\hspace{5em}\stackrel{\textit{slope of its reflection}}{\cfrac{1}{a}}

MATH HELP!!!!!
Dimas [21]
<span>58% The sum of all the probabilities has to be 100%. In tennis, because there's no time limit, a match will always result in a win or a loss. Since Garry has won 42% of his games, that means that he's lost 100% - 42% = 58% of his games. And if you assume his win/loss ratio is reflective of his future games as well as his past games, then he as a 58% chances of loosing his next match.</span>
