Answer:

1. yes, along with the advancement of technology, our present books will be considered a space occupying mass,

just like we nowadays, during these hard times watch movies and some of us save them for later, even books may be the same, that is if the next generation is not fed up of movies (lol), but interested in books

they most probably will have an e-library which many of us would already have seen popping up on the internet lately.

2. yes i am a very big fan of reading books, i would usually read anything i find but i if you ask about my favorites, they would be detective novels,  Sherlock Holmes would be on the top for me, or anything that includes fantasy. i like those just because your imagination would go wild while reading those books, the more you read, the more you predict, picture and try to solve.

3. as mentioned before , the last book i read was Sherlock Holmes and the hound of the Baskervilles, but i am on another book also of Sherlock Holmes, the sign of the four, talking of the last book i have read, it was the most confusing yet, i couldn't make out the culprit till the end, real twisting and fascinating to say

In a speech in which he attempted to persuade the audience to support legislation restricting tobacco use, former Vice President
KatRina [158]

Answer:

- Emotion-arousing words to trigger audience response.

Explanation:

The authors often employ various persuasive techniques(ethos, logos, or pathos) to convince the audience to believe and accept the claim or idea proposed by the author.

In the given excerpt, the textbook tip for persuasion that Gore employed effectively would be 'emotion or ethos' which involves 'employing arousing or triggering words' that targets the emotions of the audience and elicit desired emotional response from them. The use of ethos is reflected by the description or inclusion of personal incident 'his sister dying of lung cancer' to substantiate his point('to restrict tobacco use').

Which of the following quotes from The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle helps us understand the historical context of the sto
Romashka [77]
<span>"If strong ideas and actions offend you, read no more" helps the reader understand that a young woman in the historical context of the story, was not permitted to think or act in ways that could be considered "strong".

Certainly the other statements could lend you some ideas about the time period, for example the year, sailing on a ship as a means of travel, or being called a lady, but the idea that a young woman could not do the kinds of things that other people could do, tells that this will be a story that is different for girls. Charlotte's adventures on the ship were things that, normally in 1832, a girl would never have had a part in.</span>
