I believe the timeline, which you did not copy in your question, is the following.

Significant events in American politics in the 1920s:

1920 – Harding is elected president;

1921 – Emergency Tariff Act is enacted;

1923 – Harding dies and Coolidge becomes president;

1924 – Coolidge is elected president;

1924 – Revenue Act is enacted;

1928 – Coolidge chooses not to run and Hoover is elected president;

1929 – The stock market crashes.

 • The missing significant event that ended in 1922 is the Washington Disarmament Conference (A). Its actual name is the Washington Naval Conference, and it lasted from November 1921 to February 1922. Called by the United States, it is considered the first international arms control conference in history, and maintained peace during the 1920s between the two world wars.
 • The event that ended in 1923 is the Teapot Dome scandal (1921-23) (C). Considered the most important scandal in the history of U.S. politics before Watergate, it revealed that President Harding's Secretary of the Interior, Albert Bacon Fall, was guilty of accepting bribes from oil companies. Teapot Dome, Wyoming, is the location of one of the oil reserves in question.

What values do we as a nation still need to improve
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

the values best associated with a happy and wealthy life were low individualism, low power distance — in other words, a lack of authoritarianism in your life — and low uncertainty avoidance.

Masculinity had a mixed effect. While the ability to plan for the future can be universally recommended, that “need for achievement” component comes at quite a cost. Those who score higher on masculinity make more money but also tend to be unhappier, despite the higher pay. By the way, this isn’t a new observation. Economist Adam Smith wrote about it more than 250 years ago.

HELP ME DO AT 11;59( PLEASE HELP ME
kirill [66]

Answer: 1. It is an official change made to a law, or a legal document.

2. The first ten amendments to our Constitution, called the Bill of Rights, guarantee basic freedoms of the American people. For example, freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and freedom of religion are guaranteed rights. So if the government is denying someone's right to do something the person can use the constitution to back them up and prove they have the right to do something.

3. I think they should protest

4. I don’t known about this one

5. The main reason would be conflict of interest.

Conflicts of interest can be actual or perceived, but can have serious implications in either form. Attorneys can find themselves in hot water and even put their clients at risk if they aren’t thorough in their investigation of potential conflicts.

6. Amendments are the only way to change the constitution. The purpose of amendments is to provide a law with the protection of the federal government. States are unable to pass any law that violates with an amendment.

7. I don’t about this either

8. Without the Bill of Rights, this right could be taken and if the government becomes entirely corrupted, people could be put in jail for false accusation, their race, religion or sexuality, and many other unfair situations.

9. How should I do this one?
