Honestly, depending on what your teacher wants the answer from you to be based on your text, the answer can be either tone (the attitude of the poem overall), diction (which certainly reveals the author's attitude towards the subject through word choice), or theme (although theme is beyond tone).

Hello!

The Correct Answer would 100% be:

"Theme". Why?

Well, because all stories surround a theme, whether the theme is about forgiveness, patience, kindness, etc, it always does.

Remember, Theme: What is the author's attitude towards his or her subject.
