Simplify and determine the coefficient of (- x)(3y)(-2x). PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OverLord2011 [107]

The coefficients in the equation (-x)(3y)(-2x) are the constants -1, 3, and -2.

In order to simplify and determine only one coefficient we should multiply all  three constants together to get only one numerical constant .

The commutative law says hat you can rearrange a multiplication any way you want. so, (-1)*3*(-2)=(-3)*(-2)=6

The equation can be also simplified written as:

6x^2y

HELLO ANY MATH EXPERTS HERE THEN PLEASE ANSWER THIS !!!
Iteru [2.4K]

-6x-2y = -18\\\\\text{Plug y = 0}\\\\-6x  = -18 \implies x = \dfrac{-18}{-6} = 3\\\\\text{Hence the coordinates of the x-intercept are given by (3,0)}

What is the value of (-3/4)^-4
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

256/81

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the formula:

a^{-b}=1/a^{b}

Using the above formula to solve the question, we perform following steps:

(-3/4)^{-4}=1/(-3/4)^{4}

                    =4^{4}/(-3)^{4}

                    =(4*4*4*4)/(-3*-3*-3*-3)

                     =256/81 which is the required answer.
