Answer:

An immunization campaign started to eradicate polio from India in 1994 known as pulse polio abhiyan (mission). "Post-Resuscitation and Initial Utility in Life Saving Efforts" is abbreviation of Pulse.

This Mission is initiated by the Indian government appreciation for their effort and will power to eradicate polio completely fro India. In this initiative even public contributed by volunteering at the vaccination booths, spreading the information and awareness about the campaign by distributing news articles and pamphlets. Donations for the expenses and vaccine are also provided by the people and government.
