English

After reading the ''Waken an Old Lady'' by William Carlos Williams I have mixed feelings about two of the options represented above. At first I thought, that elderly people should not go outside in snowy and windy weather. Then I read for the second time and now I am pretty sure that the correct statement that shows the theme of this poem is the third option ''<span>Elderly people should not go outside in snowy and windy weather.''. Do hope it will help you.</span>

What does the word eternal indicates in the poem voice of rain
loris [4]

Answer

as someone else said on here

<em>"explained its upward movement towards the sky as eternal.  The poet says that, similar to the rain, a song starts from the heart of the singer, travels to reach others and, after fulfilling it purpose (whether cared for or not) returns to the singer with all due love. "</em>

i think of it as the sky is the limit , so like it can go on forever as far as we know.  There isn't an end.
