The heterozygote genotype has a different

phenotype from the homozygous dominant

genotype.

Explanation:

In codominance bothe genes are equally dominant.  For example, AA is type A blood, BB is type B blood, but AB is type AB blood.  Both genes are expressed in the phenotype.
