1 Vehicle backover injuries and deaths occur when someone, without a driver’s knowledge or awareness, is positioned behind a veh
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer: D-Some readers may be unfamiliar with blind spots.

Explanation:

Blind spots have been an issue for decades of driving. Newer cars now come equipped with back up cameras and this can help reduce the fatalities that lead to people getting run over in cars. However, if a person is rushing to leave they may not look out their camera or mirrors and still run over a child or elderly person.

Blind spots are touched over in some drivers education classes and driver license tests. There needs to be more teaching and understanding about blind spots in all cars. When passing in a vehicle, the car or semi truck ahead of you may have a blind spot and can't see you coming. This causes many accidents on roadways each year.

How do these lines from Kyndra Khan by Samuel Taylor Coleridge affect the overall tone of the poem?
stiv31 [10]

In "Kubla Khan," Coleridge describes the creation and destruction of Kubla Khan's palace in the exotic location of Xanadu, which gives the poem a dreamlike quality. Through the historical character of Kubla Khan, Coleridge uses the wild image of the Mongols to suggest that Kubla Khan is insane, implying that all creative actions are the acts of mad men.

The last lines bring the poem to a climatic close. Flashing eyes evoke the image of passionate creativity. By talking about "holy dread," Coleridge suggests that creation is both sacred and demonic.

Hope that helps :)

Why exceptions are there to the statement that ants are ubiquitous
Furkat [3]
Ants are ubiquitous because they are intelligent and work as a collective unit within a hive. Ants adapt to most climates and are generally very hearty insects. They also work together to help and protect each other. They also work as a collective to solve problems, protect their queen and survive.
