Basalt is a dark-colored basic igneous rock that is formed due to the cooling and crystallization of magma at the seafloor. It has a silica content of less than 45%. It is denser than the other rocks. It is comprised of finer crystals, which forms because of their faster rate of cooling. These crystals are made up of pyroxene and plagioclase feldspar (calcium-rich). This rock is mainly found in the mid-oceanic ridges and near and around the volcanoes.

Due to rt the wars and the violence and while the capital city of the Sakha Republic in Russia is located far away from these political and has inhabited locality and the city is connected by a highway that can be only used by a ferry.
