9+\cot^2x=12
\cot^2x=3
\cot x=\pm\sqrt3
\tan x=\pm\dfrac1{\sqrt3}

This happens on the unit circle whenever x=\dfrac\pi6,\dfrac{5\pi}6,\dfrac{7\pi}6,\dfrac{11\pi}6, and more generally for x=\dfrac\pi6+n\pi and x=-\dfrac\pi6+n\pi for integers n.

What is the volume of the cylinder below? A cylinder with a height of 12 millimeters and diameter of 18 millimeters. 108 pi mm3
Artemon [7]

Answer:

V =972 pi mm ^3

Step-by-step explanation:

The diameter is 18 so the radius is 1/2 of the diameter

18/2 = 9

r=9

The volume of a cylinder is

V = pi r^2 h

V = pi (9)^2 12

V =972 pi mm ^3

Write an equation for a line on the graph that passes through the points (0.4) and (12,16)
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

y = x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the two-point form of the equation of a line.

y - y_1 = \dfrac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}(x - x_1)

y - 4 = \dfrac{16 - 4}{12 - 0}(x - 0)

y - 4 = \dfrac{12}{12}x

y - 4 = x

y = x + 4
