Personification is when there are a lot of words that start with the same letter... they make tongue twisters... (ex: shelly sold sea shells down by the sea shore)
I'd say I and II but it could possibly be I, II, and III
the reason I think this is because III could get you off topic or connecting to something different. But, to be safe I would do I, II, and III

I guess formal and informal refer to two types of essay - you can write a formal essay where you avoid conversational language and such and where you need to be very professional, or you can write informally where you don't have to think about such things, it is very casual.
