Athena was born after zeus swallowed his previous wife, while she was pregnant. One day zeus got a horrible headache, so Hephaestus, his current wife's son, split open his head to see what was the reason. Athena leaped from his head dressed in armor with a shield and spear. She declared herself goddess of war, and wisdom. As for crafts, she was the goddess of wisdom, and i mean.. Everybody needs a hobby.
