Find the 96th term of the arithmetic sequence <br> -3, -14, -25, ...
lana [24]

Answer:

-1059

Step-by-step explanation:

Katelyn, this is super easy to understand.

Anyways, to find the 96th term of the sequence, first subtract -14 and -3. You may be thinking it is -17, but it is not. -17 is only if you are subtracting -14 and 3.

(-14) - (-3) = -14 + 3 = -11.

That means the difference between each number is -11.

Now all you have to do is take the -11 and multiply it by 96, which is -1056. Then, add the -1056 to -3, which is -1059. That should be your answer.

Your school may have taught you a different way, but this is my way.

Find the missing length using the Pythangorean Theorem and round the answer to the nearest tenth if necessary
UNO [17]
B=6 i believe! if you use the pythagorean theorem (a^2+b^2=c^2) then you should be able to turn 8^2 and 10^2 into 64 and 100, respectively. 100-64=36 and the square root of 36 is 6. you can plug it in by calculating 8^2 + 6^2, which equals 100! hope this wasn't too confusing XD

25% of 24
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

---

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm not showing you all of them, but this one is very simple.

You convert the percent(25%) to a decimal(0.25), then multiply it by the whole number(24). So simple, I got it all in one sentence.

0.25x24=6

25% of 24 is 6.

---

hope it helps
