president roosevelt was much more open to having a decent relationship with stalin than churchill was, so while churchill might have wanted to take action, he would probably have thought it through carefully to make sure britain and russia were on good terms. that’s just what i think churchill would have done, but hopefully that gives you some ideas to look into :D
