The correct answer is number of the antecedent.

Number of a noun/pronoun can be either singular or plural. Antecedent is the word in front of a pronoun/phrase that the pronoun/phrase refers to. So, if you insert a phrase between the subject and the verb, that phrase won't affect the number of the antecedent. For example:

The bottle of Coke is on the table.

The phrase <em>of Coke </em>didn't affect the antecedent's (<em>the bottle</em>) number.

Write a letter to your headmaster telling him 3 reasons why students are indiscipline
Sav [38]

Letter to Headmaster.

To,

The Headmaster,

Little Angels School,

Mulund, Mumbai 81.

Subject: An observation regarding the lack of discipline in school.

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I the undersigned would like to bring to your notice that over the last weeks there have been instances where students are quite indisciplined. Some of the reasons for this includes:

• Rules are not enforced: Students aren’t really punished for their offence and which is why they tend to behave in an indiscipline way.

• Favoritism: Because of some teachers being biased between students, other students comes out as a rebel.

• Bad Habits: It have been observed that some students are under the influence of bad habits such as arriving late at school, eating tiffin before the lunch break and so on.

Kindly consider these aspects which results in indiscipline in school. Looking forward for some preventive measures. Thank you for contemplating my opinions.

Sincerely yours,

Vicky Das,

School Caption.

Highlight evidence of magic realism.
Anna71 [15]

Answer: "Her husband emerges from the light and comes toward her, taller than the palms, walking on water"

Explanation:

Magical Realism refers to the amalgamation of magical as well as realistic elements into a story. Essentially, reality is explained by magical or fantastic concepts meaning the story is neither completely fantasy neither is it completely real.

Evidence of Magic Realism in the above is,

"Her husband emerges from the light and comes toward her, taller than the palms, walking on water"

The is magic realism because her late husband Jorge, appearing from a beam of light is not realistic but supernatural yet it happened to her as she sat on her porch.
