One of the many reasons the Europeans decided to explore is because of their economy. Others are related to them having achievements of getting other countries under them that is for their glory and their interest, and also for the sake of spreading religion.

For instance now, the British government decided to explore Americas for their raw materials. The Britain will increase their revenues by collecting raw materials from the Americas and send it to Britain for processing after it has been processed they will now sell it to the Americas.

The economic choices affected the Europeans decision to explore are; the need for new trading routes so as to get goods from Asia continent quickly and the need for them to get more gold.
