Answer:

Livy could be 13 years old, and Cori could be 35 years old.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The system of inequalities describes the relationship between Cori’s age, C, and Livy’s age L.

C + L > 43

C - 4L < 3

We have to determine the ages of Cory and Livy.

We will plot both the inequality in a graph.

Thus, below attachment shows the graph of the two given inequality

Let x axis represent the Cori’s age, C, and y - axis Livy’s age L.

Now we plot the given ages in the graph and those points lies in intersection will given the ages of Cori and Livy.

Thus, Only (35 , 13) lies in the intersection,

We reject other points as the lies on dotted edges of graphs.

Thus, Livy could be 13 years old, and Cori could be 35 years old.

Hello,

To write 170 as a fraction ,you have to write 170 as the numerator and put it over 1 for the denominator.

After that, you now multiply numerator and denominator by 10.

170 = 170/1 (x 10) = 1700/10

The answer then is:
170 as a fraction equals 1700/10

Hope this helps.

suppose a triangle has two sides of length 2 and 3 and that the angle between these two sides is 60. what is the length of the t
arlik [135]

Answer:

 √7 ≈ 2.646

Step-by-step explanation:

The law of cosines is applicable. It tells you ...

 c² = a² + b² - 2ab·cos(C) . . . . . where a, b, c are triangle side lengths, and angle C is opposite side c.

Filling in the given information, you have ...

 c² = 2² + 3² - 2·2·3·cos(60°) = 4 + 9 - 12·(1/2) = 7

 c = √7 ≈ 2.646

The length of the third side is √7, about 2.646 units.

Solve!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!! MKE BRAINLIEST!
2x^2 - 28 = x^2 + 15
What is the answer!
padilas [110]

Answer:

x = ± sqrt(43)

Step-by-step explanation:

2x^2 - 28 = x^2 + 15

Subtract x^2 from each side

2x^2-x^2 - 28 = x^2-x^2 + 15

x^2 -28 = 15

Add 28 to each side

x^2 - 28 +28= 15+28

x^2 = 43

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(x^2) = ± sqrt(43)

x = ± sqrt(43)
