Answer:

A. Six Day War and Yom Kippur War

 • After enormous tensions between Israel and its neighbors, the war began in early June 1967 in which Israel occupied the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, the West Bank and East Jerusalem of Jordan, and the Golan Plateau of Syria in just six days.
 • This conflict is known as the Six-Day or the June War and was fought from June 5 to June 10, 1967, between Israel on one side and Egypt, Jordan and Syria on the other.
 • The Yom Kippur War, also known as the Ramadan War or the October War was fought between Israel and a coalition of Arab countries led by Egypt and Syria between October 6 and 26, 1973. They invaded the Sinai and the Golan Heights, occupied by Israel in 1967.

B. According to the Camp David Accords, the Israeli Prime Minister has pledged to withdraw from the entire Sinai Peninsula and to recognize the "Land for Peace" principle. The treaty provided for temporary, limited autonomy for the Palestinians as a transitional solution on the way to their own state. But for the sake of general rejection, this did not happen. Only 14 years later, in Oslo, the Palestinians were ready for a similar deal with Israel.

 • Politicians from around the world attended the signing of a peace treaty at the White House.
 • There was a lack of representatives of the Arab world: above all a representative of the Palestinians.
 • The Palestinians opposed the treaty, condemning it as a separate peace and boycotting Egyptian President Sadat. But he did not allow it to be shaken.

E. He was killed.

 • Two years after the signing of the Camp David Accords, Egyptian President Anwar Es-Sadat was killed by Islamist opponents of peace in Cairo.
 • Still, Camp David is a historic event, and peace between Israel and Egypt continues to this day.
 • No love was born of it, but there was a twisted relationship between the two countries.

What was the consequence of brooks's beating of sumner in the north? The south?
viva [34]

This event is known as the Caning of Charles Sumner, and it took place on May 22, 1856. On this date, Representative Preston Brooks, who was a supporter of slavery, attacked Senator Charles Sumner, who was an abolitionist. He used a cane to do so, leading to the name of the event.

The issue shocked people due to its violence, and it led to the development of even more division between the North and the South. In the North, Brooks was seen as a savage, and Sumner as a martyr. People were enraged, and they believed the episode was an example of the lack of tolerance displayed in the South. On the other hand, the event was supported by many in the South, as they believed it demonstrated the weakness of the Northerners.

Using the Internet, find one image that represents the views of government of Aristotle, one image that represents the views of
krok68 [10]
I'll give you some thoughts on the political views of the thinkers named. It's up to you to search for images and write your descriptions.

Aristotle believed there were three valid types of government, depending on the size and scope of what was to be governed or upon local situations. (He studied the constitutions of various governments as part of his work in writing his work, Politics.) As state with a sole ruler ruling rightly is a monarchy. If that form of state is abused, it becomes tyranny. A state with a number of members of the ruling class is an aristocracy -- rule by the excellent ones, noble men suited for governing. If it is corrupted by having a few rule but not of noble character or in a noble way, Aristotle referred to that as an oligarchy (rule by a few). A state in which all worthy men participate in governing Aristotle termed a polity, a constitutional government. He saw it as a corruption, though, to have a full democracy (rule by the people), which would become the sort of thing we call mob rule.

Aquinas picked up thoughts from Aristotle, who had favored a monarchy. Aquinas, writing from a Christian perspective, wrote about the righteous and proper sort of ruler who would serve as God's appointed leader among the people, truly caring for them (not becoming a tyrant).

Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx were partners in establishing communism as a political ideology. Engels and Marx believed that in time, class struggles between overlords and those beneath them would give way to a society in which all ruled and lived and worked collectively.
