During world war II, people were most likely to relocate to the Pacific coast to find work in the United States.

Further Explanation:-

There were vast changes seen in every aspect of American life when the United States decided to enter World War- 2. There were millions of people from the United States who joined military service and saw many other countries of the world which they maybe wouldn't have seen if they were not a part of the military. There were high demands for labors and that caused millions of Americans to move mostly to the Atlantic and Pacific coast.

During the period of world war 2, the Labor market saw radical changes as peacetime conflicts that were concerning race and labor work took a special dimension because it was facing pressure related to national duty. When the war got over, the United States was in a better state of the economy than any other country which was part of world war 2. The American society became more active towards their nationalism as than most of the Americans could have imagined before war. During the same period, Public policies were made and bills of rights were introduced which provided money to war veterans to attend college.

Answer:

The Gulf and Pacific coasts

Explanation:

During WW II, the United States emerged as a potent economic actor, as many American industries, especially those oriented to defense and war production, were revitalized by the war

The shipbuilding industry, for example, considerably increased in the Gulf and Pacific coasts which had become war-production centers; along with this growth, the job opportunities increased too and many people decided to move to these coasts in order to work. This was particularly true in the three Pacific Coast states whose population grew a third between 1940 and 1945.
