Ok so what you would do is find 15% of 50 and that would be 7.5 (if you did it as a decimal) then you would do 50-7.5 and that would be how much more Madeline will have to save.

Svet_ta [14]
A semicircle's perimeter is half the perimeter of the complete circle.

The perimeter of the complete circle is its circumference which is found by the equation: πD.

Then the equation of the perimeter of the semicircle is πD/2

In this case D = 24 in, then the perimeteir is π (24in/2) = 12π in ≈ 37.7 in

Answer: The exact length is 12π inches and the approximate length is 37.7 inches

A town's recreation department is updating its parks. The parks must have slides and swings.
Fittoniya [83]
Number of swings = x
Number of slides = y

First condition:
number of slides must be more than 3 times number of swings
This means that: y > 3x

Second condition:
each swing cost 275$ and each slide costs 168$. They cannot spend more than 1250$. This means that the sum of costs of swings and slides should not exceed 1250$ (should be less than or equal to 1250$)
This means that: 275x+168y ≤ 1250

Based on this:
The correct choices are: b and d

Answer:

 • The equation is y = -x/2 - 3

Step-by-step explanation:

We know the equation.

 • => y = mx + b

We also know the y-intercept, which is -3.

 • => b = -3.

All we need to find is the slope. Once the slope is found, our equation is set.

 • => Slope = Rise/Run
 • => -1/2 = Slope

Conclusion:

Since the slope has been found, the equation is y = -x/2 - 3.

Hoped this helped.
