How is a civil case different from a criminal case?
cricket20 [7]
Civil cases are cases that usually involve the plaintiff pursuing legal action against the defendant for an unethical breach of contract.  A good example is a mother taking her child's father to court because he fails to pay child support.  Criminals cases are usually filed by the government against the defendant for committing a criminal act.
