We can set up a proportion to solve this problem as follows:

height of the model/width of the model= height of the actual/width of the actual

24/18=60/x

Cross multiply,

24x=18*60

24x=1080

x=45 ft.

Therefore the answer is 45 ft.

You find this by finding the number of yards in 15 feet (15÷3) and that number of yards in 24 feet (24÷3) and multiplying them together. 5X8=40sq yards.

A repeated-measures study and an independent-measures study both produce a t statistic with df = 20. The repeated-measures study
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

B. False

Step-by-step explanation:

We have that both studies have the same production for what the first part of the statement mentions.

"A repeated-measures study and an independent-measures study both produces a t statistic with df = 20"

And they ask us if it is false or true, if one produces more than the other.

Starting from the first statement, the second statement is false because they produce the same, therefore they will be the same subjects.

The function f(x) = 3,005(1 + 0.03)x represents the amount of money in a savings account where x represents time in years. What
Damm [24]

Answer:

Principal or Initial Amount of Money

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, f(x) = 3005(1+0.03)^x.

Now, comparing with f(x)= ab^x where

a = initial value

b = rate of growth

x = time or period

This, function is an exponential growth function. So by comparing we get a= 3005 which is the initial value b = 0.03.

But in this case according to the question, the function f(x)= 3005(1+0.03)^x represents the amount of money in a savings. So the answer is 3005 which is the initial money.
