Ok let's look at each answer individually:

A - it is always increasing
Let's substitute x = 1 into the equation: f(1) = 1/10
Now let's substitute x = 2: f(2) = 1/100
As we can see, the y values are getting smaller as x increases, therefor A is incorrect

B - The range of f(x) is y > 1/10
This graph has a horizontal asymptote of y = 0 and so the y-values will approach but never reach 0 as x increases, therefor B is incorrect

C - The graph contains (1, 10)
Now if we substitute x = 1 into the equation we get: f(1) = 1/10. Therefor C is correct!

Geometry solve for x
Stels [109]

Answer:

x = 74 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

If we assume that this triangle is isosceles, then the sum of the two angles at the bottom is (180 - 32) degrees, or 148 degrees.  The angle x is half that, i. e., x = 74 degrees

Please help with math
Sergio [31]

Answer: x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

x+y=8\\y=3x

Replace y in the first equation by the value of y in the second equation.

x+y=8\\x+3x=8\\4x=8\\x=\frac{8}{4}\\ x=2

Which system of equations could be used to determine how many of each coin you have
kirza4 [7]
<h3>Answer: Choice A</h3>

0.10d + 0.05n = 2.25

d = 2n

================================================

Explanation:

n = number of nickels

d = number of dimes

we have twice as many dimes as nickels, so we could have something like 18 dimes and 9 nickels. Algebraically we would write d = 18 and n = 9. The equation that fits this is d = 2n. The answer is between A and B at this point.

We rule out choice B since the 0.05d is incorrect. It should be 0.10d to represent the total value of all the dimes.

Choice A is correct

d = number of dimes

0.10d = value of all the dimes in dollars

n = number of nickels

0.05n = value of all the nickels in dollars

0.10d + 0.05n = total value from both coins combined

2.25 =  total value from both coins combined

0.10d + 0.05n = 2.25
