The area of a circle is πr².

First we will solve for r, radius, and then double it to find the diameter.

153.86 = (3.14)(r)²
49 = r²
√49 = r
7 = r

Now the diameter:

7*2 = 14

So the diameter is 14 units.

Hope this helps :)

I need help with this math question 167/100 = blank/100
nikitadnepr [17]
I agree its 167 but if that was an example you basically just cross multiply whenever you have a similar problem:

167/100 = x/100

100x = 167 * 100
x = 16700 ÷ 100
x = 167

Which of the following statements does not describe the altitude of a parallelogram?
maria [59]

Answer:

It is the length of the parallelogram.

It connects opposite vertices of the parallelogram.

Step-by-step explanation:

Refer the attached image.

We can see that it is not the length of a parallelogram, therefore the first statement does not describe the altitude of a parallelogram.

It is true that the perpendicular drawn from one of the vertices to the base of the parallelogram is the altitude of the parallelogram.

It is true that we also call it height of the parallelogram.

The line that connects the opposite vertices of the parallelogram is called diagonal not the height or altitude.

We use the height of the parallelogram to find the area of parallelogram.

A = b\times h, where 'h' is the height of the parallelogram.

So, first and fourth statements does not describe the altitude of a parallelogram.

All you need to do is add 2 to the y from (0,6) and 1 to the x axis

Step-by-step explanation:

If your slope is 2 then it is also 2/1 which means that you want to add 2 to the y and 1 to the x or subtract.
