Answer: C. He captures the imperfect, disorganized way that Anse thinks and feels.

Modernist authors such as T. S. Eliot, James Joyce and William Faulkner developed a way of writing known as stream of conciousness. This is a technique that attempts to mimic the way people actually think. Therefore, this type of writing often jumps between several different topics. It also displays some of the characteristics of thought, such as incorrect grammar, constant connections between a variety of topics or lack of coherence. Therefore, by employing this technique, Faulkner captures the imperfect and disorganized way in which Anse thinks and feels.

What's the one thing in her life that Delia feels is still worth protecting and fighting for?
joja [24]
I think Delia has put up with her husband for so long because she doesn't know any other way to live. Ever since she married him, he has been beating her and after awhile, she began to familiarize it with her husband. Also, being a God-fearing woman, she does not want to divorce her husband because that is a sin in her book so she continues to put up with her husband. However she reaches her limit when he begins to threaten her home, which is what she worked her entire life for. Instead of giving in to his demands which is what she normally does, she stands up to him because her home is the one thing that matters to her in her life and she will not abide by him any longer. Delia puts up with him because she does in a way love him, regardless of how he is. I believe it's called battered woman's syndrome, Delia has been abused by him ever since she got married to him. Usually she just ignored his anger but when she decides not to save him I think she's just thinking good riddance.

Write an essay that analyzes a theme in The Call of the Wild.
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

this is what I have so far...

Explanation:

The Call of the Wild "is the tale of the transformation of Buck, an intelligent, people-friendly dog, who got used being in town and campfires then into a forest resident named by his wild instincts." With a change in lifestyle, the first changes in Buck's character began. The dog, who was a member of a rich family and had everything in the life of his dog, became the dog used in the snowy deserts of Alaska for sled transport. Desire for superiority is the defined theme for buck in this story.

Buck's desire for superiority has a large impact on the story. Without having this trait, Spitz would still be alive and Buck would not be the leader he is right now. The German philosopher Fried rich Nietzsche and his philosophy of "will to power" influenced the subject of leadership in this work by Jack London. This theory says that there are people who want to conquer and "slaves" who do not have this will. The concept of death in the battle to be prime is also in the list of themes that the author wanted to highlight in "The Call of the Wild."

This was a very good story that had many very good themes. In my opinion desire for superiority is the theme for this story, it correlates with a lot of the characters in the story including Buck and Spitz.

I hope this helps!!
