Answer:

The King of Brobdingnag views British weapons as dangerous.

Explanation:

The story of "Gulliver's Travels" by Jonathan Swift revolves around the fictional journey of Lemuel Gulliver to different kingdoms and his experiences in those kingdoms. The whole book covers the different aspects of Swifts' view on humanity through his satiric representation of the English society in the kingdoms that Gulliver encounters.

Gulliver's first trip took him to the kingdom of Lilliput where he was a monster and the Lilliputians were dwarfs. The Lilliputian king also loved wars and fighting, even bringing forth war just with the simple issue of breaking the wrong end of the egg. Contrary to this, the King of Brobdingnag loves peace and thinks that wars and fighting are useless acts. In chapter VII, Gulliver states that "<em>The king was struck with horror at the description I had given of those terrible engines, and the proposal I had made</em> ", referring to his proposal of telling him about the use of gunpowder and machines for war.
