Talja [164]

A public record contains information about an incident or action reported to a government agency for the purpose of informing the public.

<h3>What is a public record?</h3>

Records that are covered by Schedule 1 of the Public Records Act of 1958 (PRA) are considered Public Records. They are documents produced or acquired by the military forces, the NHS, the courts, and the executive agencies of government ministries. If they are Crown property, they also consist of the records of non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs).

There are some things that are expressly excluded, such birth, marriage, death, and adoption registers; documents that are entirely or mostly about Scottish matters; and the permanent collections of public record museums and galleries. The PRA also gives the Secretary of State the authority to order that a body's records be made public and to decide whether or not such documents are public.

erastova [34]
The tension that Britain caused over the colonies made many colonist angered and frustrated with British law. People felt as if British rule shouldn’t be held over the colonist for many reasons: Britain should not be in control of a country or empire with bigger size. Britain caused many grievances like heavy taxes and harsh control.Britain also did not protect and benefit the colonies as Britain should. King George’s rule caused outraged citizens which lead to a revolution.

Although Dr. Smith believes that women and men can perform equally well on a math test, she is exploring whether women perform w
miskamm [114]

Answer:

Dr. Smith is exploring the concept of Stereotype Threat.

Explanation:

Stereotype Threat is a psychological effect, which indicates that a person's <em>behavior </em>can be <em>negatively affected</em> if this person is asked to specify if he or she belongs to a certain social group. If this social group is identified with a particular <em>stereotype</em>, the person’s behavior would be negatively affected by the stereotype threat.

Here women undergo a math test and their performance is being tested (<em>behavior</em>). They are asked to indicate their gender before the testing. According to the stereotype that Dr. Smith is researching, women are bed at math. Gender here indicates <em>belonging to the social group</em> (<u>women</u>) which is <em>identified with a stereotype</em> (<u>being bad at math</u>).
