Here in Brasil we have a program that involves collecting donated things like toys, clothes and non perishable goods giving the donated items to charities and every R$1000 a acre of trees is planted in the deforested parts of the Amazon
I know you mentioned ‘other than planting trees’ but the process before it is beneficial not only to the people but also the environment overall

A piston above a liquid in a closed container had a area of 1m 2squared. The piston carried a load of 350 kg. What will be the e
Simora [160]
In physical science, pressure quantifies the amount of force that is applied at a certain area. Mathematically, this can be transformed as,
                    Pressure = Force / Area

It is also to be noted that force is the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity.
                 Force = mass x acceleration due to gravity
Substituting,
                Force = (350 kg) x (9.8 m/s²)
                Force = 3430 N

Then, substitute this to the first equation,
                 Pressure = 3430 N / 1m²

ANSWER: Pressure = 3430 N/m² = 3430 Pa
