An Indirect Object is the person, animal or thing that receives the action of a verb, that is, the recipient of the direct object. So, an Indirect Object Pronoun is a person that receives the action of a verb indirectly. Its purpose is to tell you <em>to whom</em> or <em>for whom</em> something is done. We can see the different forms of indirect objects in Spanish in the Table below.
