Trading 4’d is the technique of exchanging four bar solos, often between a soloist and a drummer.
This artwork is using textures by using the jam and peanut butter, i think it is also using negative space, there are different tones and colours, like the jam is a warm red and the peanut butter is a cold light brown, i also feel like the lines aren’t definite but rather different on both sides.
